Becky Beyer is an avid homesteader, craftswoman, and botanical illustrator. She is currently completing her Masters in Appalachian Studies at Appalachian State University, where she teaches Ethnobotany and works in the State Herbarium. She teaches locally and throughout the Southeast on topics of wild foods, Appalachian folk medicine and food ways, as well as a variety of primitive skills and crafts.
