Asheville With Kids

Teach the kids about sustainable, forage-to-table cooking by participating in Alan Muskat’s famed No Taste Like Home. He leads wild food foraging tours, educating children and adults alike about wild food (particularly mushrooms and which varieties are edible). Guided group foraging tours are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from mid-April to mid-October, or year-round for private tours. Proceeds benefit classes for public school students. Kinda gives a whole new meaning to ‘picky eaters,’ huh?
