Alan Muskat, author of “Wild Mushrooms: A Taste of Enchantment,” has been guiding foraging tours for more than 20 years in the Asheville area.
You can go on an hour-long tour, where wild mushrooms and other edible plants and flowers are gathered. Then the harvest is taken to one of five different restaurants and it’s made into a delicious meal.
